The current version have soft little detachable nose guards secured on plastic pins that dig into your face when you do a face plant, so make sure you cut them off before they cut you up. <br />Also bought a tool kit, broke the chain breaker first time I attempted to shorten my hardened SRAM chain and found some of the pullers are designed specifically for Shimano running gear. Also have bought the MTB shorts, no probs. As with most things you get what you pay for!
